Return & Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains when products may be returned and how to start a return.
Returns
Unused, unopened products may be returned within thirty (30) days of delivery, subject to the terms of this policy.
To be eligible for return, the product must be:
Unused;
Unopened;
In its original packaging;
In resalable condition; and
Approved through Stepwise’s return authorization process before being shipped back.
Installed, opened, used, altered, or modified products are not eligible for return.
Because Stepwise products are electrical hardware designed for permanent installation, any product that has been installed, opened, used, altered, modified, or damaged after delivery is not eligible for return under this Return & Refund Policy.
Restocking Fee
Approved returns of unused, unopened products are subject to a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee. The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Return Authorization Required
To start a return, customers must request a Return Authorization before sending any product back to Stepwise. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

After your request is reviewed, Stepwise will provide return instructions if the return is approved.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defect covered by Stepwise’s Limited Warranty or a shipping error by Stepwise.
Customers are responsible for properly packaging returned products. Stepwise is not responsible for products that are lost, damaged, or mishandled during return shipping.
Refunds
If your return is approved and the returned product is received and inspected by Stepwise, we will issue a refund of the eligible purchase price, less the applicable 25% restocking fee and any non-refundable shipping, handling, or taxes, where applicable.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Defective Products and Warranty Claims
If you believe your product is defective, please do not start a standard return. Product defects may be covered under Stepwise’s Limited Warranty.
